A few practical connector and cable ideas around marine telemetry, sensors and field enclosures
Overview
PEI-Genesis has previously supplied OceanWise with SOURIAU UTS circular connectors.
As well as supporting any future UTS requirements, I wanted to highlight a few other areas around the OceanWise monitoring and telemetry systems where we may also be able to help, including sensor connections, cable assemblies, rugged data, enclosure venting and power.
Support around what you already use. We can continue to support the existing UTS requirements, but we can also help when a new enclosure, sensor or cable needs something different.
Connector + assembly support. Where useful, PEI can supply more than the connector itself, including terminated cable assemblies and modified solutions.
Samples and technical support. If a new option looks relevant, we can get parts in front of the engineering team and work through the detail rather than just sending a catalogue.

We would work around OceanWise's existing approved parts and only suggest an alternative where there is a genuine reason to do so.
